How you will make an impact:

Coordinate health and safety (H&S) activities in EMEACLA Region (including offices, field and other activities) with the primary goal of driving results in HS regulatory compliance, standards including ISO 45001, injury prevention, H&S risk management.

  • Drive H&S regulatory compliance system to control compliance of applicable legislations.

  • Coordinate H&S hazards identification of all activities withing the region, support risk assessment and relevant control measure identification and support their execution.

  • Support country implementation of applicable Edwards Lifesciences H&S Standards and Regional H&S Programs.

  • Drive incident reporting, investigation, improvement, and H&S Performance.

  • Provide guidance in Health & Safety Management based on ISO 45001 Standard and support continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to regional and global standard development and improvement.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Engineering, Scientific, or H&S related) & 4+ years of EHS related experince required.

  • Proficiency in English is a must.

  • Substantial understanding and knowledge of ISO and other relevant regulations.

  • NEBOSH or other equivalent certifications is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills & ability to influence change.
