GE Healthcare Product Specialist Cyclotron and TRACERcenter in Uppsala, Sweden

Job Description Summary

The Cyclotron and TRACERcenter modality service, based in Uppsala, is the leading provider of GE cyclotrons services in the world. In this unique position, you will have the opportunity to grow your expertise and to experience the full range of field service and customer interaction. You will interface with engineering, production, lifecycle engineering, local and regional service, TCMs at GE Healthcare and customers. In the role as Product Specialist Cyclotron and TRACERcenter you will be a member of the global service force, providing daily support to GE Healthcare field engineers and customers.

Your main duties are to support the customers and field service engineers remotely from the office when working on OLC, travel across the globe to customer sites to conduct equipment installation, GE-initiated field modifications (FMI's), Preventative Maintenance (PM's), emergency corrective actions when needed and service trainings. You will as well be part of the training team providing applications and service trainings both on customer sites but also at our training facility in Uppsala. This role provides you with the full life-cycle service experience, as well as opportunities to gain perspective from local GE peers and customers. Essential Responsibilities

  • On site installations and Service work

  • Conduct Applications and Service trainings on customer sites and at Uppsala site

  • Provide remote support to local service teams and customers.

  • Act as a link between service and other departments, share knowledge and drive improvements.

  • Support the Operations team to define the scope of a specific service mission

  • Support continuous improvement activities in all areas of product lifecycle.

  • Work independently and possess a high level of expertise to service the RP and TRACERcenter products

  • Use domain expertise, customer input and data analytics to set and drive the priorities that will ensure a focus on increasing the quality and the reliability of the Radiopharmacy and TRACERcenter product line

Required Qualifications

  • Formal educations in engineering physics alt. electrical engineering

  • experience in servicing cyclotrons

  • Project management experience

  • High degree of EHS awareness

  • Team player, cooperative, interested in further development

  • High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with ability to work under pressure

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Fluent in English

  • Willing to travel 60-70 % and sometimes with short notice

  • High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding, and diagnostic skills combined with ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, problems.
