The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Production Control Unit Worker. Under direction, this position will independently conduct and process confidential written background check requests to provide determination of abuse and neglect. The position will also answer phone calls and review various documents and forms containing complex, confidential information. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and interested in playing a supporting role in the Departments call operations. Job Responsibilities
- Serves as Production Control Unit Worker.
- Answers phones on the Child Abuse Hotline, directing calls, taking, and relaying messages.
- Reviews various SCR documents and forms containing complex, confidential information.
- Processes requests for case consolidation/deletion and CPD logs, analyzing complex problematic situations.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
