The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Pay Range: $78,800.00 - $130,000.00

Job Profile Summary: The Marketing Manager will have a proven track record in developing and executing marketing, database mining and segmentation, and/or marketing automation. The Marketing Manager is a strategic thinker and a results-driven, data-minded, detail-oriented, highly organized team player who can work in a problem-solving environment. Marketing Manager will have experience leading and developing a team.

As a member of our Marketing Leadership team, you will be responsible for helping develop, implement, and track WGU marketing initiatives and other programs. You will also be responsible for the effective management and delivery of marketing campaigns, communications, and public outreach plans by managing projects through the full marketing lifecycle. As someone excited by creating structure from ambiguity, you will use your experience in digital marketing and strategic planning to develop and execute multi-channel engagement plans. Your passion for data will help you monitor performance, evaluate ROI, and identify trends in order to make informed decisions around optimizing conversion. This role has accountably to lead a small marketing team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: * In combination with the Senior Marketing Manager, help identify and develop the strategy of the assigned marketing program, including messaging, audience segmentation, timing, flow, and database segmentation. * Day-to-day Operations. Manage day-to-day operations, which may include the production of complex campaigns such as creation, setup, segmentation, scheduling, and tracking. * Campaign Planning and Development. Help implement and execute integrated marketing campaigns for program managers, WGU state affiliates, alumni, and other constituents across WGU. * Creative Development. Develop and execute marketing plans while working with a team of writers and designers to develop message direction and marketing collateral. * Oversee marketing performance and trends. * Develop and create email test strategies to refine email communication performance, including content, images, colors, messages, subject lines, etc. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams at WGU to execute marketing campaigns. * Develop and lead a functional team...
