Our prestigious client, a humanitarian organization with a global footprint is searching for a highly qualified and passionate Director of Finance & Accounting! This role is central to the overall operation, requiring experience in the areas of leadership, financial reporting, board presentations and liaising with external advisors. The organization is a dynamic and empowering non-profit, so as a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Finance & Accounting will play an indispensable role in steering the department and fostering a team culture that resonates with the mission and goals of the organization. This position will be responsible for managing finance operations processes, reviewing policies and procedures, and maintaining control activities. Furthermore, as the Director of Finance & Accounting, you will act as the important bridge between the global headquarters and stakeholders across various locations and vibrant cultures. Not only will you be working closely with the CFO to ensure that financial practices are met at the highest standards, but you will also be overseeing a large and enthusiastic team. As a leader, you will provide day-to-day supervision, mentorship, and professional development for the success of the entire team. Requirements

-BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field

-10+ years of experience in accounting, CPA required

-Supervisory experience required

-Excellent oral and written communication skills
