Qualcomm are launching a new platform for Compute and are working with a number of OEM and Software partners to bring new AI experiences to the market.

Job purpose and deliverable

To build awareness of Snapdragon- based compute devices in the commercial channel via selected distribution, IT service providers and VARs to educate and excite both channel and end users on the benefits of the platforms – with particular focus on France and Germany. These organisations are set up to service the needs of business users across IT infrastructure.

Scope

HQ/EMEA

  • Work with San Diego product and partner marketing teams to understand value proposition for the category and product roadmap as it relates to EMEA.

  • Work with EU commercial channel leadership to develop and execute commercial channel marketing plans with particular focus on France and Germany

  • Build a network into the San Diego Business, marketing, PR, social, digital, channel training and brand teams to provide OEMs support in GTM strategy for EMEA including OEM, channel sales and marketing support.

  • Work with Category and BD leads in EMEA to prioritize countries, OEMs and channel partners and build a marketing plan for each.

  • Produce a monthly commercial channel report covering relevant market insights, sales and promotional results and up-coming actions.

OEM

  • Working with category and country BD leads, build and develop relationships with relevant OEM partners at EU and local country level to drive sales of Snapdragon-based PCs

  • Build relationships with relevant commercial marketing leads to identify channel/OEM overlap

  • Align with the OEMS and channel partners on relevant campaigns for cross collaboration including timings, content and cost/OEM budget contribution and ensure Snapdragon is represented appropriately in marketing materials.

  • To leverage relationships to gain market insights and build credible knowledge base within the organization.

CHANNEL RELATIONSHIP AND PARTNER MANAGENMENT

  • Develop GTM plans agreed upon by compute partners for FY’24

  • Develop and expand relationships with the partners marketing team and set up re-occurring cadences to ensure alignment on campaigns and activities. Build and maintain relationships to ensure brand awareness and loyalty.

  • Communicate the value proposition of IT products and services to potential customers through various marketing channels.

  • Work with the channel partner marketing team to adapt partner marketing material to fit their audience - inclusive of email, social, banner ads, videos, content syndication etc.Build MDF agreements for channel partner activities and manage budget allocation, reporting and ROI reporting

  • Manage the approval process for partner assets to ensure all partner created content and assets comply with QC brand guidelines and GTM messaging.

  • Reporting regional leadership and worldwide leadership

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns, strategies, and tactics to promote devices

  • Identify key audiences for each campaign with the channel partner .

  • Identify key KPIs for each campaign to track and measure success

  • Leverage the digital campaigns to drive enterprise leads across all partners in EMEA

  • Work closely with the partner to identify the sales funnel and lead qualification to ensure relevant leads are being nurtured by channel sales teams

  • Collect post campaign metrics from the channel partner to monitor performance of spend

EVENT MANAGEMENT

  • Work with channel partner(s) to Identify relevant events (timings and activities) that resonate with their audience and incorporate into each marketing plan

  • Build event specific plan in collaboration with the channel marketing teams and their agency - including timings, venue, cost, content, invitations, attendee list etc.

  • Work with the QC Marketing and PDM teams to identify relevant QC content for presentations

  • Collect post event metrics and event performance for reporting

Experience

  • Strong understanding of the IT industry, B2B buying processes and lead generation and nurturing tactics and tools

  • Creative thinker with excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Experience of working on new projects and establishing new ways of working

  • Ability to defining and execute consumer channel programs

  • Experience of driving cross-functional team to create a comprehensive plan with dependencies identified and critical issues/paths.

  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed within established KPIs.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to deliver clear messages on issue identification and resolution through schedules, trackers, and campaign status updates.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 + years commercial channel and marketing experience in tech companies

  • Masters degree in business or technology preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be fluent in French and English. Additional languages (German) would be beneficial.

  • Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships and rapport with senior business stakeholders

  • Ability to convey information clearly and accurately with great credibility

  • Ability to be organized, resourceful and adaptable

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

OR

Associate's degree or equivalent degree and 5+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

OR

High school Diploma or equivalent and 7+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
