Chewy, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II at our Minneapolis, MN location to design and build software components of services and/or platforms. Actively participate in the definition, design, development, testing and implementation of software functionality using an agile methodology. Build and modify scalable distributed software systems. Partner with stakeholders and technology teams on how best to implement desired features and enhancements. Ensure that technical solutions follow best practices, are reliable, are easily maintainable and are scalable under sustained load. Participate in design and code reviews. Collaborate to identify, isolate, and resolve malfunctions related to software. Create and evolve system-related documentation. Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to operational excellence.
