Job Overview

Maximize sales growth in a specified geographical territory, consistent with Company strategy and objectives, by using information technology to effectively engage with target audiences.

Essential Functions

• Engage with customers and target audience using available electronic media such as using telephones and holding internet based “on-line” meetings.

• Contribute to the development of tailored communication materials (e.g. digital promotional materials) related to the customer’s product or services.

• Maximize sales by effectively targeting resources.

• Follow-up on appointments arranged by administrative support staff and feedback any relevant information to colleagues.

• Conduct sales calls or interviews using the relevant e-detail and or CRM system.

• Develop a self analytical approach in order to identify learning areas from each call.

• Utilize relevant “web-call” centers to call on and/or train healthcare professionals.

• Maintain records in the required reporting systems (e.g. CRM); report daily calls and produce reports in an accurate and timely manner.

• Keep Line Manager informed about changes in competitor activities and other market changes.

• Maintain up to date sales/technical knowledge of any relevant specialty and disease area(s), as required.

• Deliver activity targets and campaign objectives in relations to e-detail project (s).

• Follow the organization’s and customer’s standard operating procedures and strategies.

• Maintain good standard of product, commercial and system knowledge.

• Ensure delivery of calls in line with customer model and, if appropriate, any related call centre model.

• Handle inbound/outbound calls to healthcare professionals and generate appointments when required.

• Ensure the reporting of any identified Adverse Events in line with prevailing process and guidelines.

• Project a professional impression of the Company and act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Life Science or related field Req

• 1 year’s Pharmaceutical sales experience Req Or

• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Req

• Strong IT skills required and attention to details.

• Ability to organize and prioritize own work.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to conduct telephone and internet-based presentations to customers.

• Knowledge of Pharma Market and related procedures.

• Maintain focus and commitment on assigned targets.

• Ability to analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources and systems.

• An attitude which is positive, energetic, flexible and supportive in a challenging environment.
