Amazon Senior Supply Chain Manager, EU ATS Science and Tech - Optimization in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Amazon Transportation Services is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager. As a key member of the EU Science and Tech team, this person will be responsible for identifying long-term business problems, diving into data, modelling problems and solutions in close collaboration with scientists and tech teams, and shape the long-term research plans in alignment with business needs.

The job is opened in the EU Headquarters in Luxembourg, designed to maximize interaction with the team and stakeholders, but we will consider applicants with remote work requirements as well.

Key job responsibilities

Identify business problems that require science support, in particular systemic issues that require long term research and scientific moonshots.

Understand the current capabilities of our science and gaps for what our customers need.

Work on complex initiatives, model problems and propose solution ideas.

Work end-to-end between all parts of our customer fulfillment.

Lead complex data-driven analyses to assist decision making.

Communicate to leadership results from business analysis, identified problems and solution proposals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Master's degree

  • Experience in logistics and supply chain, as well as working with science teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer obsession, desire to have impact and tackle large scale problems.
