Description

Robert Half's Legal Division is immediately seeking a Real Estate Paralegal for one of our dynamic, In House clients in Indianapolis, Indiana. The ideal candidate would have 5-10+ years of experience and be comfortable working in a flexible, in office environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review title commitments, recorded documents, and survey-related documentation to ensure legal compliance

• Examine pre-development site plans for potential legal issues

• Prepare transaction and closing documentation, including settlement statements, to facilitate successful real estate transactions

• Administer business entity qualifications, ensuring all necessary legal documentation is in place

• Track closing checklists to ensure successful closings

• Manage and track transactional timelines and deal requirements to ensure smooth real estate transactions

• Use commercial real estate skills to provide legal support to the team

• Work in a flexible, in-office environment, adapting to changing priorities as needed

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role within the real estate industry.

• Proficiency in commercial real estate law is essential.

• Should have excellent research skills with the ability to analyze and interpret legal documents.

• Must be proficient in using legal research software and other related legal technology tools.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Strong organizational and administrative skills are essential.

• Must have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

• Familiarity with legal terminology and principles relating to real estate transactions is required.

• Should have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Should be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal real estate laws and regulations is necessary.

• Ability to independently draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and deeds, is required.
