This executive team role contributes to business strategy development and execution. Implements strategies through direct reports that facilitates the talent acquisition and talent development that builds capability in the talent pipeline. Works through direct reports to enhance talent management and employee experience. The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will strategize internal and external communication, build community engagement, and build strategies that elevate reputation and brand.

The CAO will lead the Radiance Human Resources, Marketing, and Radiance University teams. The CAO will also be the executive sponsor for internal committees such as We Lead, Radiance Gives, and ESOP Communications.

The essential functions include:

o People Operations and Talent Strategy Shape the human resources and people operations functions to be high-service, efficient, and aligned with company values. Provide executive oversight for talent initiatives like succession planning, performance management, leadership development, talent acquisition and talent management. Continuously assess the employee experience and identify opportunities for improvement.

o Capability Development Working closely with operations and Chief Technology Officer, identify skills gaps, needed competencies, and technology shifts and develop plans to acquire, develop, and retain the talent that builds corporate and organizational capability.

o Organizational Performance - Using data and people analytics, collaborate with other executives to implement the initiatives that drive organizational performance.

o Aligning Culture: Reviews the companys goals, values, and day-to-day practices and work to better align these elements, creating a cohesive and positive workplace culture.

o Shaping Perceptions: Assesses and identifies ways to shape both internal and external perceptions of the company. Through direct reports, work to build the organizations brand in alignment with its values. Develop strategies to boost the companys reputation with customers, industry, employees, and candidates. Continually evaluates communication strategy both internally and externally.

o Champion Employee Ownership Identify opportunities to champion employee ownership both internally and externally.

o Identifying Innovative Practices: Challenge the organization to uphold their values and continually improve. Identify business processes and systems that can be optimized to align more fully with company goals.

o Thought Leadership: Continually study external trends, market information, and leadership thought to evolve and sustain company performance.

Required Skills

Required Experience

In depth understanding of government contracting industry with 15+ years minimum direct industry experience

In depth understanding of the government contracting business model

5+ years of leadership experience

Experience in the talent acquisition, management, development, marketing, and learning and development functions

Clearance
