MDW Associates, LLC Budget_Program Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama

MDW Associates is currently seeking a Budget/Program Analyst to support the Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) in Huntsville, AL. The RCCTO serves to expedite critical capabilities to the field to meet Combatant Commanders' needs. The Office enables the Army to experiment, evolve and deliver technologies in real time to address both urgent and emerging threats, while supporting acquisition reform efforts. Primary duty is to serve as a Budget/Program Analyst for the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) Mid-Range Capability Project Office (MRCPO), which is responsible for the development, testing, integration, and fielding of the Army's Mid-Range Missile capability. The Budget/Program Analyst will support MRC program management by executing a variety of budget and accounting tasks including: planning and executing customer and direct funding requirements; analyzing, assessing, and monitoring the use of customer and direct financial resources; and performing a wide variety of budgetary processes and techniques. Essential job functions will include but may not be limited to: Managing the day-to-day budget status and execution of congressional appropriations in support of the MRC Project Office Developing get well plans to support OSD budgetary obligation and disbursement goals Working with cost analysts to assist with costing projection for fiscal year budget execution Assisting business team in developing budget products and presentation documents in support of the project management office Working with project management functional teams in efforts to develop budget requirements and execute funding in support of fielding capabilities to Army units Required Skills Experience: Coordinating and executing funding actions in support of Department of Defense (DoD) Preparing and submitting Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), and Direct Charge (DC) transactions Monitoring funds execution and creating financial reports Executing budget and funding action using the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) Pull status of funds Build WBS and adjust funding across Track funding obligations and disbursements Adjust funding documents Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and attention to detail skills Possess a flexible and positive attitude in the face of challenges and ambiguity Ability to multi-task and prioritize important, competing tasks and information Accountability for results and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Desired Experience: Budget experience for a major weapon systems development Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high paced, multitasking environment Education Requirement/Required Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field and 3+ years' experience in budget execution required. 10+ years of relevant experience preferred Clearance Requirement(s): Candidates for this position must currently have an Active US DoD Secret Clearance (or higher) Candidates with an active TS/SCI preferred Company Description Incorporated in 2012, MDW is a small business headquartered in Washington, DC with offices in Huntsville, AL.
