Description We are looking for a meticulous AP/AR Clerk to join our team in the non-profit industry in Daly City, California. The AP/AR Clerk will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, maintaining organized financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions

• Utilize QuickBooks Online to record financial transactions, including issuing checks and processing ACH payments

• Support financial forecasting and grant reporting by providing accurate and timely financial data

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation

• Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and donors as needed to resolve payment or invoice issues

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and guidelines

• Develop understanding of accruals, reconciliations, GL, budgeting, grant reporting, and forecasting

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AP/AR Clerk or in a similar role within the non-profit sector

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online software for financial management and reporting

• Demonstrated skills in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and invoices

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records

• High degree of familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
