Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our team. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations, and attracting a diverse pool of qualified candidates. You will also provide support and guidance to management regarding recruiting plans and assist in the selection process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in human resources and a passion for finding top talent.

Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Location: Columbia, SC

  • Pay Rate: $25.00-35.00/hr depending on experience

  • Shift: M-F, 8:30AM-5:30PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an active requisition load for high volume, repetitive jobs, campus recruiting, internships, and entry-level professional roles

  • Develop staffing plans and pipeline active and passive talent to generate qualified candidate pools

  • Conduct in-depth screens and assessments to evaluate candidates' interest, qualifications, and salary expectations

  • Provide support and advice to management regarding recruiting plans, selection criteria, and salary decisions

  • Train new management on compliance with corporate policies, employment laws, and regulations

  • Utilize recruitment tools such as the Human Capital Management (HCM) system for workflow tracking, candidate disposition, offer extension, and new hire documentation

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure completion of pre-employment checks

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in any major or 4 years of human resources related work experience

  • 2 years of human resources experience, preferably with recruiting or talent acquisition experience

  • Good judgment skills and effective customer service, presentation, and organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in spelling, punctuation, and grammar

  • Analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of database software, such as Access, is preferred

  • AIRS certifications are preferred
