CACI is hiring a Systems Engineer to support our Consolidated SCN Modifications, Maintenance + Operations team in Colorado Springs, CO.

What You’ll Get to Do:

You will be responsible for leading teams of engineers executing complex engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and execution of system design, development and implementation. You will be responsible for work that is high quality and on schedule. Typically has strong knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the program/project.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/related field and a minimum of 5 years related work experience with:

  • DoD Systems Engineering

  • Frequent communication with senior leadership in the form of presentations, white papers, staff meetings, and daily correspondence.

  • Management of hardware and software projects.

  • Ensuring engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformity with an organization’s established policies and objectives

  • Ability to coordinate and direct project plans to accomplish the desired objectives

  • Maintaining strong relationships with government customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Experience with Configuration Management, Drafting, Test and Network engineering processes.

  • Experience with DMZ design

  • Experience with Virtual Machines

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Self-motivated

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Satellite Control Network (SCN) experience

  • Microsoft or Linux server experience

  • Network modeling experience

  • Confidence to make high-level decisions

  • Critical thinking under pressure

  • Attention to detail

  • Desire to learn

  • Effective, professional interpersonal skills

$74,600-$156,700
