The Market Analyst / Global Pricing will continuously work to improve competence in pricing functions, drive & change management and improve activities supporting price performance and sustainable profitability growth. The ability to identify and act on opportunities to improve pricing to capture business potential in local markets is critical. Bridging business requirements between central and local pricing functions to secure compliance and ensuring the continuous flow of market intelligence to and from the division are expectations. This role will report to the Global Market Analysis Manager and will collaborate with other Global Pricing professionals throughout Epiroc's worldwide footprint.

Responsibilities: Analyze and take appropriate actions on price trend, currency effect and market trends that impacts the profitability and competitiveness of pricing Support improvement activities in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure profitable and competitive pricing in the local market Monitor competitive trends and competitor actions by collecting information within the area of regional responsibility provided by local stakeholders Facilitate and drive change management activities in close collaboration with divisional and local stakeholders with the objective to support and improve price performance Become the central pricing champion who continuously interacts with Customer Centers to improve compliance with expected net price levels and relevant pricing policies and processes Facilitate efficient collaboration with Customer Centers; train, coach and guide stakeholders to have the right knowledge, resources and processes in place to manage and develop local pricing strategies Emphasize consistency, sustainability and consolidated profitability throughout all price related activities Lead regional pricing forums, review meetings and networks - make efficient use of local resources and continuously channel market intelligence to and from the Division Monitor and report as needed strategic price differentiation in local and global markets (cross-divisionally) Communicate internal pricing and relevant pricing factors to all Product Companies, Customer Centers, Distributors, and Indent sales customers within your regional responsibility Collaborate and openly share business requirements and information with relevant internal stakeholders; maintain transparent and continuous dialogue specifically with pricing team members, Product Managers and Business Development Manager teams Travel if and when required Always maintain courteous and professional demeanor and communication with customers and internal staff

Requirements: University degree in relevant field, e.g., Business, Economics, Finance or Engineering is highly preferred or acquired similar competence through experience in lieu of degree may be considered Possess very strong analytical capabilities with a proven business acumen and customer orientation Able to create buy-in on various levels of the organization through excellent communication and networking skills; a strong command in English, both spoken and written, is required Accepts accountability with a strong ability to take control and facilitate change management Belief in the power of pricing as a strategic initiative Previous succe sful collaboration experience in an international environment is highly preferred Advanced proficiency in MS Office is required, with a special emphasis on MS Excel - handling and analyzing large data sets and communicating fact-based analyses and proposals in reports and presentations to management is an expectation Be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with several concurrent projects Mining, Heavy Equipment or Construction experience is desirable
