Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC (J0P) Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Description:
This position will report to the Manager of FP&A where they will assist in business decision support to SG&A business unit members, financial budget and analysis and monthly reporting. Functional responsibilities include facilitating preparation of budgets and monthly management reports for all SG&A functions, fluctuation analyses and insight into drivers of results and future spend. In addition, the position will assist with the monthly and quarterly management reporting of the global entity, consolidation of the overall quarterly budgets and ad hoc reporting. Specific tasks include consolidating budget versus actual analyses, being able to articulate variance drivers and executive level summary reporting. Coordinates requests for information and provides explanations of variances to Finance and business unit leaders as well as special project requests.

Essential Functions:
Alongside the Manager of FP&A, one will work closely with business leads to ensure timely, accurate, detailed inputs and supporting documentation for budgets and monthly actuals. Consolidate financial P&L, cost center and cost element rollups for all planning cycles as it relates to SG&A. Utilize BPC/Adaptive to develop reports data analysis and future metric/dashboard formatting as well as executive level reporting presentations.
Assist with preparation of comparing Global Entity historical results against budgets and forecasts. Performs variance analyses to explain differences in performance. Areas of focus include - Revenues - Gross margin - Operating expenses - Cash flows - Select B/S movements
Special projects and ad-hoc analyses (Government, Insurance, due diligence M&A requirements, GTN analysis, Headcount, Tech Ops analysis, etc)
Responsible for Adaptive FP&A data maintenance (Master Data, Actual & Planning data). Also responsible for FP&A reporting needs for areas of responsibility.
Routinely analyzes, communicates and is exposed to highly confidential (extremely sensitive) information regarding M&A, restructuring plans, spending cuts, etc. Provides timely and clear communication of the spending impact of total company decisions. Observes and shares observations regarding areas in which the various business units can increase revenue / reduce expenses utilizing trend data, comparative analyses.
Education:
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance / Accounting or related discipline preferred - Required
Experience:
2 years or more in Relevant accounting experience
1 year or more in FP&A experience
1 year or more in Responsibility for data management and analysis
1 year or more in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry commercial experience is preferred
Skills:
Clear communication skills (written and oral) required for this visible role. - Advanced

Specialized Knowledge:
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power Point required.
Progressive experience in financial analytical techniques.
Understanding of key financial terms and metrics
Progressive understanding of FP&A processes and practices
Strong communication skills
Licenses:
Professional accreditation desirable (MBA/PMP/CPA/CMA).-Upon Hire-Preferred
