As an important member of the broader communications team, you will also contribute to our overall efforts to engage and communicate effectively with our global supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own program management of a range of supplier events, from regional engagements to our annual large-scale Supplier Day event.

  • Lead end-to-end development of events, from strategic ideation to execution and reporting critical metrics.

  • Partner closely with peers and customers to ensure flawless execution.

  • Work closely with GP leadership to determine key events; drive inclusion and alignment throughout the ideation and execution process within the GP team as well as other cross-functional customers.

  • Help identify new event opportunities for GP participation; research and prepare rationale to pitch to leadership.

  • Oversee event budgets and contractual obligations; manage payment to event suppliers.

  • In partnership with Micron’s Global Communications and Marketing team, ensure the Micron brand is always represented appropriately at GP events.

  • Drive process improvements and identify innovative new ways to reach and engage our supplier audiences.

You:

  • Are a tactical guru with an eye toward the bigger picture, a detailed project manager and seasoned events expert.

  • Embrace ambiguity and quickly come up to speed on complex issues to develop sound recommendations and anticipate risks before they arise.

  • Have a strong bias for action and can distill information to find common threads between projects.

  • Thrive in managing several projects and timelines simultaneously, working with various partners to drive these plans to completion.

  • You bring your authentic self to work and have strong collaboration skills with a team-first mentality.

  • Fluent in using data to make critical decisions and drive communications outcomes

  • Agile in adopting new tools and ways of working towards continuous improvement to better business outcomes.

  • Are collaborative and embrace an inclusive approach across geographical and organizational cultures to achieve mutual success for Micron.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in program management for events and event marketing

  • Bachelors degree in communications, marketing or related field.

  • Strong project management skills with a track record of using process to manage multiple projects in tandem. PM certification is a plus.

  • Strong experience in event planning logistics and execution.

  • Experience in translating business objectives into solutions/concepts aligned with event strategies.

  • Deep understanding of event marketing strategy and operations, and validated experience driving best-in-class events.

  • Successful track record of coordinating and proving return on investment through event marketing strategies and tactics.

  • Experience with event management systems and platforms (i.e. Marketo, Salesforce).
