KBR Principal Technical Professional; Test Engineer in Beavercreek Township, Ohio

Title:

Principal Technical Professional; Test Engineer

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer to support an Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Aircraft Acquisition program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Candidate will provide test and evaluation of hardware and/or software development. This includes developing and documenting test plans and procedures, conducting testing, and evaluating and documenting results. Prepares studies, plans, and analyses.

Specific responsibilities may include:

  • Provide T&E management for technical analyses and interoperability assessments on aircraft and aircraft systems

  • Develop and deliver T&E strategy for completing capability package deliverables to achieve Program of Record requirements

  • Engineering experience with acquisition management on ACAT I programs

  • Provide management support including test management operations, integrating new capabilities, coordinating obsolescence and sustainment updates, and supporting System Integrated Laboratories (SILs) and Subsystem Labs

  • Develop and deliver capability packages re-programmed into IMSs to support system engineering and T&E milestones

  • Develop and document test plans and procedures, conduct tests, evaluate and document results, synthesize test results, and conduct evaluations to include overall system conclusions and recommendations

  • Develop test plans and procedures and test plan guidance

  • Coordinate operational test objectives for aircraft and aircraft systems

Required Qualification: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience; DAWIA T&E Level II

Security Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI

Preferred Qualification: Master’s degree, 12 years of experience, DAWIA T&E Level III
