ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Sr Systems Engineer will be in the Iron Mountain InSight™ organization. InSight™ will enable full lifecycle management for Customers’ physical and digital records and information and provide predictive insights into that information, through a consumer quality user experience. This newly created and critical organization will be instrumental in supporting Iron Mountain customer's digital transformation and expanding Iron Mountain's relevance as global Information Management Services provider. We are looking for Python Developers who have experience in the automation of workflows. We are a growing team creating an exciting new product utilizing the latest technology in machine learning and cloud services. The ideal candidate for this position would be a proficient knowledge on the Python technology and who had the exposure to handle all the automations and process automations and Python developments . In addition to solid technical, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, the candidate must have great soft and communication skills. Further experience with Google Cloud Platform and Release Management process is strongly desired.

YOU WILL GET TO...

Participate in design discussions about the technical implementation and consider the tradeoffs to support business value, scalability and delivery timeline.

● Understand the workflows and think of Automate opportunities for all the existing features and flows

● Troubleshoot and analysis of Application feature issues.

● Join critical incident calls for priority 1 issues as the InSight™ subject matter expert

● Engage and coordinate multiple teams like Dev, Implementation and other support teams.

● Create and maintain system documentation and support processes

● Provide training and documentation to lower level teams as needed

● Identify support tasks that can be shifted to lower level teams

● Communicate verbally and in writing with InSight™ customers

● On-call duties

● Other duties as assigned

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Strong Python development and Automation experience.

• Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills with a track record of delivering production grade systems in a team environment

• Motivated individual who learns quickly, has pride in building a new product and can engage others to accelerate technical solutions

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree

• Experience in working with geographically distributed teams

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with external customers

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform added advantage and ease the learning. It is desired.

• Experience with server oriented architectures and web platform applications ● Knowledge of agile tools such as Atlassian JIRA

• Knowledge of ITSM Tools such as ServiceNow

• Knowledge of system monitoring concepts and industry best practices

• Written and verbal proficiency in the English language

Programming skills

• 3+ years of programming experience in Python

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript

• Python scripting 3 years of experience

• Microservices architecture

• Experience with microservice architecture

• Experience with containerized application

• Experience in Jenkins

• MongoDB knowledge would be good to have.

• SQL server DB experience of 2 years is required

• Apache Kafka Knowledge would be advantages Experience working with and coordinating issue resolution with 3rd Party vendors

• Knowledge of ITILv4 a plus

• Prior experience with Linux command line interface

• Google Cloud Platform knowledge a plus

• Splunk knowledge a plus
